List of "Cults", Aberrational Christian,
and Other Controversial Groups
Follow this link for a definition of "cults" and "aberrational" Christian groups. For a quick look at the significant difference of some of the major Bible-based groups with historic Christianity, see "Theology at a Glance". Not all the groups or individuals listed below are to be considered "dangerous" or even "aberrational". In some cases, information is provided solely on a basis of the controversies surrounding the group, and furthermore, some entries are simply definitions for the purpose of understanding the mindset of each group. Links to other articles regarding each group does not imply endorsement of each site, but rather, are provided in an attempt to offer the reader an opportunity to make their own balanced and fair assessment of each group.
The following list is our ongoing project of providing resources for dealing with controversial groups and individuals. It is perpetually under construction, as one might imagine.
